After collaborating with Zak at The Handmade Treat Co he kindly emailed to say he would send me a box to try for myself. I must say I was excited to receive one and see what the contents looked (and more importantly tasted) like!
I really liked coming home and finding it on my door mat. Its great that the box fits through your letter box and means theres no need to wait in for it to be delivered
So the excitement began and I quickly opened the box and found a lovely hand written note from Zak. Personal touches make such a difference!
So here's a photo of the contents of the box...
From top left:
Apricot & Almond Flapjack, Wholebake: Great flavours, who doesn't love a flapjack! This was yummy
Chocolate, W+H: When I first opened the box this was the treat that caught my eye first with the decoration
Oat & Raison Cookie, Honeyrose Organic Handbaking: These cookies had a chewy texture and perfect with a brew!
Irish Cream Liquer & White Chocolate Fudge, The Cress Company: This was definitely my favourite treat in the box. Its so creamy and delish. If I saw this on a shelf in a shop I would grab a handful!
Aromatherapy Soap, Aromatherapy Associates: Lovely smell and great in a nice hot bath at the end of the day
Brandy Balls, The Sweetie Stall: I rarely choose alcoholic flavours in sweets or chocolates but was happily surprised by the taste of these
Overall I really liked my treat box and found it refreshing to have tried some things I probably wouldn't of chosen myself (it was just a shame I had to share it with the hubby ha ha)
If you would like to order a box visit
The Handmade Treat Co are the UK’s first handmade treat box delivering fresh, healthy handmade surprises straight to your door. They recently contacted me via Instagram to see if I would like to collaborate and of course I jumped at the chance! I designed the 'Hello there' card pictured above.
All you need to do is sign up and they will post a 'handpicked for you' box every month and the treats look yummy (and are surprisingly healthy too)
I can't wait to receive a box!
Yesterday I visited the Fairy Tale Fair at Brighton's Open Market. I have had this fair in my diary for weeks and couldn't wait to see what the local crafters and makers had on offer. I certainly wasn't disappointed, here's my shopping...

I must admit my favourite stall was I Drew This... There was so much colour. My favourite prints were the Brighton landscapes including The Pier & The Royal Pavilion
Here are a few more photos...
Anna's Drawing Room had some great items including Prints, Wrapping Paper & Tea Towels
Paper Daisy Co had some lovely felted decorations and handmade cards
Now to start planning the next fair I would like to attend. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated
Faysie Boo Studio will be at some great Christmas Fairs this year... Please come say hi!
I have been a very busy elf getting ready and can't wait to exhibit and of course start my own Christmas shopping. I love shopping local at Christmas and supporting small businesses!
It's so inspiring meeting other crafters and seeing their beautiful products at these events. Please keep a look out as I will be blogging about my favourite products and stalls over the next few months
